About the project
We built a 4-room kindergarten at the new Barayip Primary School.
It opened in 2025 and can offer kinder to 132 children at a time. It may be able to enrol more local kids by spreading classes throughout the week.
Having the school and kinder together will help some families before and after school with drop-off and pick-up. It will also help some children make a smoother transition into primary school.
This kindergarten was previously known as Riverdale North Primary School Kindergarten (interim name).

Early Childhood Management Services(opens in a new window) has been appointed to run this kindergarten. Please contact them to enquire about enrolments.
Funding
This project shares in the approximate $580 million in capital funding committed since the 2019–20 State Budget to support the rollout of Three-Year-Old-Kindergarten.
