About the project

We built on the upgrades completed in 2019. This included new permanent buildings for senior and junior students, as well as upgrades to the relocatable buildings and grounds. This school benefitted from Victoria’s largest ever single investment in upgrading specialist schools, with 39 sharing $388.8 million.

In the 2020–21 State Budget, the school received $10 million.

About the project

We have refurbished and extended the administration block, which includes new staff and student amenities with an enclosed link to the refurbished library.

We have refitted the central and south classroom blocks, and have created a new flexible activity space and revised entrance for the art block​.

We have upgraded the canteen and have expanded the multipurpose room to provide flexible home crafts spaces.

The wellbeing block has also been refurbished, with new toilet and laundry facilities and improved student support services. ​

Students, staff and parents now have better access via an improved connected network of covered walkways and bus parking cover.​

About the project

We built a kitchen and sensory garden with a cafe. The kitchen and garden has a curriculum focus for secondary students, with produce from the garden used in cooking classes.

In 2018, $157,800 was allocated to the school in Round 4 of the Inclusive Schools Fund.
